'Benign' Cancer: US as Global Policeman

The Warmonger's Legacy
Posted by CGTN: May 27, 2022

"When people show you who they are, believe them."
—Maya Angelou

In this CGTN documentary, the brutally cynical, cruel and chaotic legacy of the North American (USA) empire's crimes against humanity are laid out in the words of its prominent NATO/West; military, political, academic, NGO, and other insider figures.

Also presented are select heart-wrenching testimonials from the point-of-view of some of their innocent civilian or framed (planted false evidence and witnesses) victims* from Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya to Yemen.

The warmongering pursuit of absolute power and control over the global economy and geopolitics is unrelenting.

* Surely, it is fair to count those leaders targeted for regime change as well, including Castro, Perón, Allende, Aristide, Hugo, Hussein, Gaddafi, Gbagbo, Assad... right up to Pakistan's Imran Khan among the victims of the globalist plutocrats?

And why not include the regime changes within the axis of evil; like Lincoln, Kennedy; and didn't Smedley Butler prevent the corporate coup against President Franklin D. Roosevelt?

Who else was targeted — Donald "Russian Asset" Trump? Did Trump pose a hinderance to the Ukraine proxy war agenda? If one wants to find it; there is good evidence of this.

Russia and China issued a joint statement in February (here).

The statement is the antithesis of United States hegemony, which wages endless wars, regime change operations, drone warfare, assassinations, weapons proliferation, funds bioweapons labs, and intervenes all over the world on behalf of banksters, corporatocracies, billionaire oligarchs, while never facing accountability for its crimes against humanity.

Not even the heavens are immune from the warmongers base motivations and nefarious operations: for they intend to level up their "policing" game to a "Star Wars" militarized operation.

Promisingly, The Sides are against the "Star Wars" agenda.

The Ministry of Truth (Kamala "Miss Information" Harris)

The Hill hilariously (!) imagines the "inevitably" unstable world if “empires of evil” China and Russia "prevails:"

"...what would India and Pakistan do, or Iran & Israel, in the aftermath of a shattered world order, bereft of the benign US as global policeman?"

A Size 10 Farewell to Bush

I'm going to make a prediction that no one will be trowing shoes at Barack Obama when his term is over in four to eight years. Today is the day when Obama is officially elected by the electoral college to be the 44th president of United States.
In all 50 states and the District of Columbia, the 538 electors performed a constitutional process to legally elect Democrat Barack Obama the 44th president.
One positive sign for Iraq is that six Blackwater mercenaries have been charged with manslaughter for killing civilians in a bloody incident in Baghdad on September 16, 1007. Federal prosecutors call the incident an "unprovoked and illegal attack."

Since Bush is not fazed by the shoe attack, why not release the Iraqi reporter who threw the shoe--Muntadar al-Zeidi? It was described as an "audience interruption" by the White House, but reportedly, it could cost him two years in jail. The Iraq Prime Minister, Nouri Maliki, reportedly, wants a sentence of 7-8 years. There was a rally held in Sadr city to demand his release today, so it is clear that some Iraqis do not consider al-Zeidi a criminal.

Who can blame the guy for staging a direct action demonstration of sorts? Reportedly, he was severely beaten after the incident. There may be extenuating circumstance because he was recently kidnapped and tortured for three days by U. S. forces. The 28-year old has been covering the invasion since the beginning and has lost close relatives. As he threw the shoes he said this in Arabic:
"This is a gift from the Iraqis, this is the farewell kiss, you dog.
This is from the widows, the orphans and those who were killed in Iraq."
Muntadar al-Zeidi has secured his legacy as a hero to Iraqis, Muslims and admirers around the world. Even Bush has opined that his actions are demonstrative of a free Iraqi -- "So what the guy threw a shoe at me... that's what people do in a free society." Who can disagree, freedom to express dissent and freedom of speech are hallmarks of a democracy.

Barack Obama has outlined a sixteen month timeline for ending the war in Iraq. It is a timeline that many in the media have expressed doubt about.
"But the media pouncing repeatedly on any sign of ambiguity in Obama's plans seems to reflect wishful thinking on their part more than it does any particular insight into his strategy."
Now that Iraqis have symbolically given Bush a slap in the face with this shoe incident and the U.S. and global economy has nosedived, there is more incentive then ever for the U.S. to leave Iraq; the sooner the better. Unfortunately, Obama's and the Bush plan is to station more troops in Afghanistan. This escalation of the Afghan occupation is very troubling because these so-called wars were not necessary, there should have been a cooperative international police action to capture the people who perpetuated the 9/11 attacks.

Winter Pastor: Americans at War

The main stream media (MSM) aired America's dirty laundry non-stop yesterday. The focus was on Barack Obama's former Pastor, Jeremiah Wright of Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ.

The story of the soldiers gathered to give testimony about the Iraq and Afghanistan invasions was ignored by the MSM. The event is called Winter Soldier: Iraq & Afghanistan. Hundreds of soldiers are gathered in Silver Spring, Maryland from March 13-16 in the time honored tradition of war protest as exemplified by the 1971 Vietnam hearings.

It was a very cathartic day for some and uncomfortable day for others.

Here is a preview of the Winter Soldier event from YouTube (Listen live here):

Here is a video of one of Barack Obama's appearances on the MSM:

The cynics say, "the soldiers, the pastor and the presidential candidate must hate America." The optimists say, "they must love it that much more because they care enough to speak the truth and isn't that the sign of a real patriot?" The pragmatists say "I wonder how this will affect the primaries in Pennsylvania?"

Holidays Ending With a Bang

When a co-worker told me today that he traveled fourteen hours to spend the holiday with friends; I had to interject some concerns; what with the price of gas, worries about the US infrastructure, especially if you consider the amount of money being spent in Iraq; besides, did he know what happened to Michael Jordan's father when he stopped to nap on the road in North Carolina? Or, what about Bill Cosby's son Ennis, who was murdered when his car got a flat tire in LA? Considering that on the way back, my co-worker traveled via United Airlines... the road trip was a breeze.

Speaking of Iraq; there is news of an attack on the Kurds by Turkey this week. This is just awful news. There was a delegation of Turkish parliamentarians in Iran this week who's stated aim was the "expansion of Iran-Turkey ties"... I wonder if this attack is trowing a monkey wrench into the reported statement of "A prominent Iranian MP... that Iran-Turkey cooperation contributes to establishing peace and security in the Middle East region."

Until recently the Bush Government has refused to hold high-level talks with Iran. This seems strange since others in the Middle East, who should be most concerned about the intentions of the neighboring country of Iran (which has been labeled by the US as a "terrorist" state) don't have the same concerns about Iran, who is said by the US to be seeking nuclear "weapons." In fact Egypt is also in talks with Iran this week. Of course the recent National Intelligence Estimate finding that Iran has halted its nuclear weapons program is an embarrassment to Bush and his agenda for the Middle East. The Bush administration has vowed not to change its policy towards Iran, and has attempted to "spin" the conclusions of the report in its favor. The NIE report also notes that the global threat of terrorism is up significantly, along with attacks in foreign nations.

American fundamentalist Christians just funded the smuggling of 40 Iranian Jews from Iran to Israel. Two Iranian Jewish leaders called this an "emigrant stunt". Ciamak Morsathegh of the Tehran Jewish Committee is reported to have made statements to AP (Associated Press) that this news organization depicts in this way; "Jews living in the Islamic Republic were not endangered by the hard-line policies of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad".

The assassination of Bhutto by a suicide bomber/sniper is such a tragedy for Pakistan. The Middle East is a spot that has exploded since the attack of Iraq by the US in 2003. The area is so unstable now that it makes you question the sanity of Bush supporters who profess to have "questions" over the tactics employed in the Iraq "war". This is the latest "talking point" being used by the Republican demigods to appease their constituents. Well this constituent is not appeased and wants the impeachment of this administrations' executives. Something to look forward to in the new year. Keep hope alive!
